Hello Valley Springs Elementary students and families. I am looking forward to another great school year here in beautiful Valley Springs. I am a Calaveras native, having lived here for about 30 years, including all of my childhood. I often get to teach the kids of friends of mine I have had since I was in 5th grade. The students learn all about American history, writing genres, our galaxy, chemical reactions, water, participate in the science fair, go on field trips, read a lot of great novels, including historical fictions of before and after the Revolutionary War, art, music, social skills, and so much more. 5th grade is such a fun year!
