The vision of the Alternative Education program is to provide all students with the academic and social tools needed to become contributing members of society.


The mission of alternative education is to:

  • Bridge high school with postsecondary student endeavors to include Junior College, work and or other post-secondary career choices.
  • Encourage and model moral, ethical, and responsible decision making by all.
  • Entice students to be creative, imaginative, and open, to forward thinking ideas, and solutions for the purpose of solving personal, local and world issues that affect their lives, family, community, and beyond.
  • Make learning accessible for all students in all subject areas, so that a quality education can be attained by all students.
