Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to Miller's After School Sports Program. Miller offers 5 seasons of after school sports starting in late August and ending in mid May. The league has a website which has information on start dates for seasons, standings for teams, maps to schools, and much more. You can also find tryout waivers for the current season, as well as tutorials on how to enroll your child once they make the team. I will hold parent meetings one evening night the week before the season starts. If you cannot make it, the Powerpoint I will be showing is down below. It will be updated each season with coach's names/information.
Athletes must have a tryout waiver completed the Sunday before the start of the season. No tryout waiver, no trying out. They will need to watch or go home and come back on Tuesday after the waiver has been filled out. No waivers will be accepted Monday (start of the season) after school.
A tryout waiver must be filled out for every sport with tryouts. (No waiver needed for Cross Country, Wrestling, and Track)
Once your child makes a team, you can enroll him/her. Do not enroll before then. (Cross Country, Wrestling, and Track can enroll at the beginning of the season)
Please make sure you enroll your child for the correct school.
Very important - DO NOT enroll/register your child until they confirm they made the team. Any donation will not be refunded by the District. The only teams you can enroll right away are cross country, wrestling, and track.

If you miss the electronic enrollment period (enrollment button has disappeared), please download and fill out the packet to the left. Once complete, please send with your child to give to their coach. They will not be allowed to practice or participate in games until packet is turned in.
The enrollment button usually disappears after the first week of games.
These are the 5 seasons and start dates:
Season 1 (8/25) - Cross Country (Coed), Girls Softball (6/7/8), Boys Basketball (6th, 7th, and 8th)
Season 2 (10/6) - Wrestling (Coed), (10/13) - Girls Volleyball (6th, 7th, and 8th)
Season 3 (12/8) - Girls Soccer (6/7 and 7/8), Boys Volleyball (6th, 7th, and 8th)
Season 4 (2/19) - Girls Basketball (6th, 7th , and 8th), Boys Soccer (6/7 and 7/8)
Season 5 (4/6) - Track and Field (Coed)
We ask for a $174 donation per season to help with costs for referees, coaches, equipment, and jersey replacement.
Practices are generally Monday/Wednesday and games Tuesday/Thursday. No Fridays for volleyball once games start. There will be some Monday and Wednesday games, so be sure to check the schedule. (For volleyball, basketball, soccer, softball, track and field.)
Wrestling WILL have practices on Fridays. Cross Country meets are on Wednesday.

Please make sure you enroll your child for Track and Field by this Sunday, April 6th. You can find the link on the league homepage, just under the picture of the soccer ball. Click on the link and it will take you to the Track and Field icon with the enroll button.

Again, for Track and Field, please enroll by Sunday, April 6th. The season begins on Monday, April 7th after school (weather permitting)

I am sorry, but there is currently no tennis team or club offered at Miller. We will not be starting one this year or in the near future.
