I was born in Philadelphia, and raised in New York. I met my husband in NY, where we lived and where our children were born, but then we moved overseas for a few years. We have two amazing children, one of whom, Anna, is an English/Leadership teacher at Lynbrook High School! My son, Liam, finished up his masters in computer security at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. and has returned home to the Bay Area (yay). He is a security engineer at a start-up.
This is my 23rd year in the Cupertino Union School district, where I've taught 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 2/3, 3/4, and 6th grade. This is my 9th year teaching 7th grade at Kennedy Middle School.
Teaching is my passion and I look forward to spending the day in Room 23 with my fabulous Kennedy students. In my spare time, you may find me drinking iced coffee or matcha while reading, writing, lesson-planning, working out, petting dogs and spending time with my amazing family and friends.
