This page should be information about EITHER the four seismic waves OR the three main fault types.
Title your page either WAVES or FAULTS
Body or Surface?
Motion (think Longitudinal and Transverse)
Speed (can you find how fast they move - velocity)?
Features (What do they move or not move through? How does different matter affect them? How does the surface move if a surface wave?)
Photos or imagery related to each wave (maps, pictures, drawings). You should definitely include animated images (see below).
Walls (Hanging and Foot)
Direction each moves for each type
Rock stress that causes each fault
Examples of each fault in the real world
Photos or imagery related to this wave (maps, pictures, drawings). You should definitely include animated images (see below).
As you give the information for each wave or fault, include any embedded animation or animated gifs so your viewer can see the motion for themselves. For example:
This is an example of Elastic Rebound. Here the earth is slowly being moved along the fault line in opposite directions. As it moves, the edges stick and get held up. Then, when pressure gets too strong, the stuck portions SNAP and get pulled quickly, to catch up with the rest of the fault. That "Elastic Rebound" sends out seismic waves.
BIBLIOGRAPHY - Your WAVE or FAULT page MUST end with a listing of all the sites and books/sources you used for information (this includes photos as well).
