Travel Advisory - From Meet Management
IL-53 Traffic Concerns/Delays/Shutdowns
"Just wanted to warn you all of construction concerns on Route 53 and possible delays. There is on-going major construction on IL Route 53 near the Palatine exits. There have been multiple lane shutdowns and long delays over the past few weeks. Please plan ahead for an alternate route or to leave earlier in case of a need to detour. Please pass along to your families."
Parking
Parking Information from Palatine High School
Deer Grove East Forest Preserve is located on Dundee Road, ¼ mile west of Hicks Road.
From Route 53, exit Dundee Road west. Go approximately 2 miles to Deer Grove East.
Limited parking is available in Deer Grove East. For those who might want to walk or bike in, parking is also available in the parking lot of the Hobby Lobby store on Dundee Rd, just before the Jewel at the corner of Dundee/Hicks. The walking distance to the course is a little more than a mile.
A spectator shuttle will be available to Deer Grove East course from Palatine High School parking lot. Palatine High School address is 1111 N. Rohlwing Road, Palatine, IL 60074
