The CERT Program -- seeking students interested in fire fighting, medicine, search and rescue, community organizing, disaster preparedness, animal search and rescue, first responders, and more. Become a certified member of a Community Emergency Response Team. Twenty hours of preparation required, including one simulated "Disaster Day." Training sessions will take place on Wednesdays right after school for 14 weeks; one Saturday session is mandatory.
The Citrus Fair -- seeking a student who is motivated, personable and able to work independently on a project. The intern should be ready to apply knowledge of business practices in a fast-paced real world environment. A student who is interested in communications, research, marketing and business development would be a good fit. The intern will assist with marketing for the fair and other events (writing, social media, database development, etc.), conducting research, helping with event planning, operations, vendor contracting, etc.
The Boys and Girls Club -- seeking girls who know they would like to go into some type of leadership, management, or people development role. Students would assist the program director in leading the Cloverdale club.
The Raven Theatre -- seeking students willing to work on social media, promotions, and marketing events and/or lobby displays for upcoming productions. Also open to considering longer internships depending on a student's personal interest in the world of theatre.
