Green Ottawa

The City of Ottawa has opened up a public consultation for the redeveloping of its Solid Waste Master Plan with the goal of decreasing the volume of waste added to our landfills.

There are three ideas for proposed to regulate waste: partial pay-as-you-throw, reduced item limits, and clear garbage bags with recycling and organics bin. To find out more about each of these options and to participate in the survey, click the button below!
