Climate Justice Ottawa

Climate Justice Ottawa advocates for alternatives to a carbon-centric economy that address the interests of marginalized communities. Through empowering communities, they challenge political systems that do not align with an equitable and healthy planet. They participate in the process of reconciliation and decolonization, and support First Nations, MĂ©tis and Inuit self-determination.

Climate Action Carleton

Climate Action Carleton is a dedicated group of students working towards tackling climate change through education and action. They have been incredibly active in challenging the discourse at Carleton and pushing for the administration to fully divest from fossil fuels by 2025. Climate Action Carleton is doing amazing work with both raising awareness around Climate Justice on campus and educating those around them about the importance of divestment.

Student Energy Carleton

Student Energy is a global youth-led organization created to empower and facilitate meaningful youth engagement and mobilize resources to support youth-led energy solutions.

Their club on campus is a fantastic resource to check out. They offer events and programming around sustainability to introduce and provide students with ways they can learn to be more eco-friendly and help transition the world to a sustainable future.
