The rigorous and relevant four-course Biomedical Science sequence allows students to investigate the roles of biomedical professionals as they study the concepts of human medicine, physiology, genetics, microbiology, and public health. Students engage in activities like investigating the death of a fictional person, learning content in the context of real-world cases. They examine the structures and interactions of human body systems and explore the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease; all while working collaboratively to understand and design solutions to the most pressing health challenges of today and the future. This pathway is a PLTW Certified pathway which also allows for AP and PLTW Recognition in an additional 2 credit AP Chemistry & Lab OR AP Biology & Lab are taken in the students Junior Year.

^ To earn the college credit through PLTW students must score a 7 or better on the End of Course assessment for PBS, HBS, and MI. To earn AP and PLTW recognition students must earn a 7 or better on the two PLTW course and a 3 or better on the AP course.
