The TDC Conference reaches its eighth edition, showing it has become an enriching space for connection, professional development and networking for English language teachers. Building on the success of our previous hybrid events, we remain committed to hosting the conference in both in-person and online formats, ensuring broad access and reach for our community.

The TDC Conference is one of our primary initiatives at Cultura Inglesa, keeping our doors open to the teaching community in Belo Horizonte and beyond. The event invites educators and ELT professionals to gather, share best practices, reflect on the daily life of the classroom, and exchange experiences that strengthen our pedagogical efforts.

This year, our theme Back to Basics invites us to take a closer look at the fundamental pillars of quality in teaching. In an increasingly complex and tech-driven world, we propose a return to the essentials: meaningful human interaction, thoughtful lesson planning and attention to core pedagogical concepts. Aiming to feature a diverse programme of academic speeches and practical workshops, we will explore how key educational principles can be revisited and reimagined to constantly improve learning outcomes today.

Beyond fostering professional growth, the TDC Conference aims to establish and strengthen bonds as well as stimulate connections within the educational community. The exchange between participants is at the core of the conference, which can be an experience that we hope will continue to pave the way for collaborations, partnerships and new projects throughout the year.
