GCSE Revision Guidance
Throughout their time at Culcheth High School, all students are explicitly taught how their brains work and how learning happens. We call this our ‘Learning Curriculum’ and it gives students from Year 7 through to Year 11, the skills, knowledge and understanding on how to be successful and achieve in all their assessments. If you would like to know more about The Learning Curriculum please click here.
The GCSE examinations at the end of Year 11, are the pinnacle of five years of learning, support and guidance for all of our students. GCSE qualifications are only one measure of the progress a student makes during their time at high school, but these grades allow them to move into their chosen pathways in Post-16 education. Therefore, we aim to provide all the help, support and guidance that we can to make the process of GCSE studying and revision as easy and accessible for students and parents as possible.
