Help me populate my classroom library with books that freshmen want to read! I'm especially interested in Accelerated Reader (AR) books, but all books are welcome--fiction, nonfiction, long, short, easy, challenging.... To check if a book is an AR book, go to www.ARbookfind.com and enter the title of the book. If it appears on the list, it's an AR book!
Drop off books in the Main Office or send them in with your student. Thanks!

Purchasing Novels for Class
If possible, I encourage the purchase of the two novels we will study, The Hunger Games and To Kill a Mockingbird (mass market paperback edition preferred). This will allow students to mark the books as they read and practice active reading strategies. Alternately, students may use Post-It Notes Markers to "mark the text" if using a school copy of the book.
