Leadership: The leadership committee produced forms for members to fill out when they are interested in attending a conference, such as SOCAL, and MFE/ELA.
Healthy Lifestyle: The healthy lifestyle committee held an activity after our November Meeting, where we played a game of "Among Us," a popular app on cellular devices.
Scholarship: The scoloarship committee sent our chapter reporter social media posts to recognize the FFA members in our chapter who received scholarships.
Personal Growth: The personal growth committee invited our State Degree recipients to dinner, to reward them on their accomplishment; every member invited showed up.
Career Success: We partnered with Imperial Valley Farm Smart to hold Ag Careers Live, where Ag Specialists spoke to our members once a week, and answered any questions about their career.
Environmental: The environmental committee raised and released 6 patrigridges at a local duck club to help control pest populations on the property.
Human Resources: The human resources committee held a week of donations that went to our local food bank around Thanksgiving, we collected over 200 cans to donate to the people in need.
Citizenship: The citizenship committee held a week of donations that went to our local Humane Society. We collected over 10 items to donate to them.
Stakeholder Engagement: The stakeholder engagement committee advocated for California Women for Agriculture, and had 15 students join CWA.
Economic Development: The economic development committee highlighted five local ag companies on our chapter Instagram.
Support Group: The support group committe reached out to an FFA Alumni, and asked her to speak at our Winter Banquet. The alumni chosen was our 2019-2020 Chapter President, and she gave our members an inpsiring speech at the banquet.
Chapter Recruitment: The chapter recruitment committee put together a video to send to local middle schools, to inform and persuade them to join El Centro FFA. The video was sent and shown to the students.
Safety: The safety committee made sure that our livestock exhibitors completed their YQCA lessons. The YQCA lessons taught them how to properly take care of their animals.
Agricultural Advocacy: The agricultural advocacy committee reached out to a guest speaker with an agricultural background, and he spoke to our Leadership Class to encourage more involvment in agriculture from students.
Agricultural Literacy: The agricultural literacy committee made a hundred garden kits and sent them to kindergarteners, to allow them to have hands-on experience during a time where they are online schooling.
