Introduction to the Final Project - "After Dark" Mini-Animated Movie

Storyboard and Plot due Monday Dec. 6

Learning Target: Students will use principles of animation to create a 30-sec animated clip of their own story about objects that come to life "After Dark."

Success Criteria

• Create Storyboard & Story Elements (Beginning, Middle & End) with conflict and resolution.
• Introduce setting of story by applying staging principles (Establish what will happen in the animation) STAGING
• Insert Titles / Credits at the appropriate times.
• Insert Sound Effects or Music
• Animate the camera to create Close up Shot and different camera angles
• Apply the principles of animation where they are needed
  • Squash & Stretch, Anticipation, Follow Through - Overlap
