Dr. Gonçalves will be reviewing applications for a clinical psychology PhD student for fall 2026.
Our lab welcomes applications from students interested in pursuing doctoral training in clinical psychology, neuroscience, or related fields, with a focus on adolescent mood and risk-taking. We encourage applicants from diverse, underrepresented backgrounds to apply.
Research assistants play a key role in our lab, helping with everything from data collection and analysis to community outreach and study design.
Who we’re looking for:
Undergraduate, post-bac, or graduate students with a strong interest in psychology, neuroscience, or adolescent mental health
Detail-oriented, organized, and motivated to learn
Excited to work collaboratively on lab projects
Responsibilities may include:
Assisting with behavioral and neuroimaging studies
Managing and analyzing study data
Contributing to literature reviews and lab meetings
Supporting outreach or recruitment efforts
