Our lab is committed to improving the mental health and well-being of adolescents. We study how depression, related conditions, and risk-taking behaviors such as substance use develop and affect daily life, with a focus on the emotions and decision-making processes that shape risk and recovery. By translating this knowledge into practical strategies, we aim to help young people and families build resilience and thrive.
Calling all adolescents and families: We view adolescents and families as essential partners in our research. Your voices, perspectives, and lived experiences guide us in asking the right questions and identifying the strategies that matter most. Together, we can shape discoveries that not only advance science, but also improve daily life for young people. We invite you to get involved, whether by participating in studies, joining our advisory group, or simply sharing your perspective.
