Members of the Student Editorial Board are responsible for the production and promotion of the journal each year. The Board is comprised of the Editor-in-Chief, the Associate Editor, the Managing Editor, the Layout Editor, Head Copyeditor, Media Editors and Web Content Editors, as well as their assistants. Editor-In-Chief
Isaac Krom is a philosophy and mathematics major from Latrobe, Pennsylvania. Outside of Inventio, he serves as a Resident Assistant in Opus Hall, and he also leads a small group on Catholic Art for Campus Ministry. He also enjoys singing in the Campus Ministry Schola and playing music.
Head Managing Editor & Head Layout Editor
Mia is a senior majoring in Politics and Psychology with a minor in Philosophy from Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Outside of her involvement with Inventio, she is the President of the Mock Trial team, the Student Coordinator for Leadership in the Center for Student Engagement, and a Writing Center tutor. In her free time, Mia enjoys spending time with friends, listening to new music, and trying out new recipes in the kitchen.
Assistant Editor
Griffin is a sophomore Media and Communication Studies major with minors in Sports Management and Writing and a certificate in Intelligence Studies from San Diego, CA. Outside of Inventio, he is the News and Sports Section Editor for The Tower, an Orientation Advisor, and a member of the Cornerstone Program. He also works as a tutor in the Writing Center and as a commentator and PA announcer for the Athletics Department's Communications team. He enjoys baking, playing and watching soccer, and eating tacos.

Elliana is a senior English Secondary Education major with a minor in Writing from Naperville, Illinois. Outside of Inventio, she is also the Managing Editor of The Tower newspaper, the Business President of Redline A Cappella, and a Co-Captain of the women’s ultimate frisbee team. She enjoys singing, reading, and is always down for a little karaoke or Just Dance.

Angel is a Politics Major with a Psychology Minor from Lanham, Maryland. Outside of Inventio he is apart of several organizations like CUA Mock Trial, Cardinal Ambassadors, Men's Mental Health Club, and WCUA hosting his own podcast/radio show! If he is not studying, he loves writing in all forms, blasting music in his car, and cooking any type of food! If you can't find me than look in my closet, my car, or a coffee shop!

Taylor is a junior English Major pursuing a dual Minor in Writing and Education Studies. She comes from Bel Air, Maryland; since she arrived at CUA she spent a year as a member of Program Board and was recently inducted into the school’s brand new chapter of Kappa Delta Pi! When she is not in the classroom, you can probably find her on the clock as a salon and spa receptionist in the city. She loves to read, write, and throw pottery!

Kelly is a sophomore theology major with a minor in writing from Palmyra, Pennsylvania. She is also a web writer for Vermilion, Catholic University's literary magazine. She plays the flute in the CUA wind ensemble and is co-captain of the Pep Band. Kelly is the recording secretary for the campus court of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. In her spare time, you'll find Kelly reading about Saints or getting meals with friends.

My name is Caitlin Farley and I am from Allendale, New Jersey. I am a Politics and Theology double major with a certificate in Pastoral Ministry. Outside of Inventio, I am involved with CUA's Orientation as an advisor and in Campus Ministry. I'm also an intern on Capitol Hill. In my free time, I love to read, spend time with friends, and travel.

Ryan Corey is a senior Philosophy Pre-Law and Theology and Religious Studies double-major with a History minor from Avondale, Pennsylvania. Outside of Inventio, Ryan is involved with the Knights of Columbus and Campus Ministry. Ryan also works in the Office of the President and is an Associate at the Catholic Apostolate Center in Hyattsville, Maryland. In his free time, Ryan enjoys running to the Capitol and listening to songs from musicals he has never seen in person.

MaggieMae Dethlefsen is from Phoenix, Arizona. She majoring in Politics, Pre-Law with a specialty in American Government, and is double minoring in Philosophy and Social Work. On campus, she serves as Editor in Chief of The Tower and President of Notes of Kindness. She is also involved in PEERS and Cornerstone, where she a Cornerstone Mentor, as well as a Politics Department Mentor and a Campus Ministry Retreat Leader. She also work on campus, so you can always find her in a variety of places! When she is not acting in one of those roles, she can find her reading, writing, with friends, or on a side quest somewhere in the city!

Christina Szerszen is an English major who enjoys spending all of her time reading through the Bedford Handbook. When she is not reading the Bedford, she is sharing amusing stories from that glorious work with her friends and family. She greatly enjoys asking Bedford related questions, learning about the history of the Bedford, and talking to people about the Bedford.

Eva Turčanová is a sophomore honors student double majoring in English Literature and Medieval & Byzantine Studies. She hails from the DMV area and her interests include reading, swing dancing, sewing, and anything artsy. In addition to her position at Inventio, Eva serves as an Undergraduate Writing Tutor, the Vice President of Swing Dance Club, and a member of the e-board for English Society.

My name is Grace Meisenhelter and I am a politics major on the pre-law track with minors in writing and philosophy from West Chester, PA. Outside of Inventio, I am a writing center tutor and a campus ministry retreat teams coordinator. I love my Catholic faith, youth ministry, playing piano, running, coffee, and most importantly, the Bedford Book.

She will be applying to law school in the fall, where she hopes to continue growing the skills she has learned from CUA’s fantastic English department and Inventio’s team.
