Discussion rooms: one of the library's public services. Register online at the library website or directly at the reception desk.

+ Lookup online: Look up information, and find documents at the library website http://lib.ctump.edu.vn/
+ Electronic library: Readers log in to the account granted by the library at the beginning of the school year, borrow and read ebooks.
Information consulting: Type the information needing support into the “chat box” on the Library website: http://lib.ctump.edu.vn/
How to use personal lockers
Personal lockers area
Step 1: Readers put personal belongings in personal lockers in front of the Library entrance (readers provide their own padlocks).
Step 2: Put your personal belongings in the locker and lock it before entering the library.
Step 3: Choose an appropriate location and service of the library to study and research
Step 4: Take your personal belongings out of the locker when finish using the library or when the library closes
* NOTE:
DO NOT use combination padlocks or oversize padlocks
DO NOT leave valuable belongings in personal lockers.
DO NOT leave personal belongings for more than 1 day of library service
How to use discussion rooms
Process of use
Step 1: Register to use the room at the reception desk or online at Link
Used Time:
Shift 1: 07:00 – 09:00
Shift 2: 09:00 – 11:00
Shift 3: 11:00 – 13:00
Shift 4: 13:00 – 15:00
Shift 5: 15:00 – 17:00
Registration conditions:
There is a group leader with shared responsibility.
Number of people / group: 6 - 15.
Step 2: Check-in.
The team leader meets the library staff at the Reception Desk to check in.
Check room status.
Step 3: Check out.
Arrange chairs neatly after stopping use.
Check the room's cleanliness and the writing board before checking out.
Get back the remote at the service desk.
* Groups are entitled to continue to register for use, if no other group registers for the next shift.
* The team leader is fully responsible to the Board of Directors for any damage to the room's facilities and equipment after use.
* Any violation will apply according to the provisions of the Library’s rules.
How to use computer rooms
Step 1: Readers contact the librarian at the Reception desk to register to borrow a computer.
Step 2: Readers go into the Computer Room, sit in the position designated by the librarian.
Step 3: When you have finished using the computer or the library service is closed, notify the librarian at the reception desk to return the device.
Notice:
Readers are allowed to use USB, the Library is not responsible for errors or loss of personal files stored on the computer.
Do not open the computer without registering to use it at the Reception desk;
Do not access constructive information ;
Do not move, disassemble, install software, or change computer configuration;
Do not touch the computer screen;
Food and drinks are not allowed in this room.
Time of using the computer can be limited/changed to match the demand of computer use in the Computer Room.
Any violation while using computers will apply according to the provisions of the Library’s rules
How to use journal and thesis room
Searching and using the documents:
Step 1: Present the student card at the Reference desk
Step 2: Use the computers to search for the documents you need
Step 3: Use on-site documentation
Step 4: Return the document to the area "Leave documents after use" (counter)

CAREFULLY READ THE REGULATIONS OF THE READING ROOM, INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING DOCUMENTS
DO NOT DISTURB, SWAP THE LOCATION OF DOCUMENTS ON THE SHELF
Article 9 of the library's rules provides for the sanctioning of acts: "(e) Obfuscating documents on shelves, failing to return documents or placing documents in the wrong place marked on shelves"
The first time: be reminded
From the 2nd time onwards: lock the card depending on the level of violation.
PLEASE DON'T TAKE DOCUMENTS OUT OF THE ROOM.
The searching computers:
The computers in the journal and thesis room are used for searching and reading E-documents.
Notes: For other purposes, move to computer rooms in the library. Contact the librarian at the Reference desk.
Searching online: follow the instructions
After having searched “ ” or the name of the journal, you can look for the things you need based on the number and the color of the shelf.
Contact the librarian at the Counter when you want to use the account and CD-ROM.
Please read “The regulations of the journal and dissertation”, “The regulations of copying the documents”, instructions and service steps at the Counter. carefully (wooden shelf).
How to use reading room 2
1. Material type: Foreign books (mostly English books, some Chinese books, and other languages books), reference books (dictionaries -pharmacopeias)
2. Service mode: open stack, on-site reading
3. Methods to find materials
3.1 Method 1 - Using document lookup machine:
Step 1: Readers find information about the book on the document lookup machine
Notice:
The document lookup machine is located in Reading Room 2.
Finding documents instructions at the document lookup machine
After finding the right to read the book, readers should note the following basic information: title, author, call number, close stack.
Step 2: Locate the shelf with the book you want to find
+ Books on shelves are arranged by topic, each topic corresponds to a series of classification numbers.
+ Readers see the instruction table of the book's index at the top of the shelf to locate the materials on the shelf (based on the book’s index in the call number).
For example:
The book " Principles and Practice of Surgery ", author A. P. M. Forrest has a call number: 617/F728. Based on the book's index: 617 and compared to the instruction table of the book's index, the book you need to find is located on the shelf like.
Step 3: Go to the shelf to find books based on the information you just looked up: book title, call number, author
3.2. Method 2 - use thematic Table instruction
Step 1: Determine the topic you want to find according to your information needs
Step 2: Locate the shelf with the topic you are looking for, read the thematic instruction tables posted at the top of each row of bookshelves.
Step 3: Go to the bookshelf to find books
To find books with a topic of "surgery", please read the thematic instruction table pasted at the top of each row of shelves, look for a shelf with the theme “surgery”. After locating the shelves with the topic you want to find, come to the shelves and find books. The books are arranged in the order of topics from top to bottom, in the thematic instruction table like, the topic “surgery” is at the top position so books that are about surgery are placed on the top of the shelf.
Notice :
Use up to 3 books/time;
Return the finished book to its original position;
Do not write, draw, tint, take notes on books, make a corner bookmark, cut, tear...
If readers make dirty, tear, or damage materials, you will be handled under Library Rules.
