Our college Villupaatu Club has organized a Outreach program on 19th April 2022, at Don Bosco Boys Matriculation School, Perambur. Totally 30 students and 1 Staff member conducted this with grand success. Along with us our consumer citizen club and unnath Bharath club coordinated with us. All the 8th and 9th class students attended this session and gained knowledge and awareness on the above topics.

Our villupaatu club conducted a webinar with the guest speaker Dr. S. Rajeswari, an expert translator, writer and publisher. She explained about the olden days villupaatu and how it originated. She took a villupaatu of god kaali including shivan and parvathy as well as pidaari and explained about it. She gave new ideas for villupaatu and new naatupura song musics. There are totally of 40-42 members participating in the webinar and gave their feedback about the guest speaker.

On 22nd December 2021 our Villupaatu Club performed for Christmas Celebration held in our college. The dress code is Red, a total of 10 members performed for villupaatu with the instruments we bought through college funding such as bongo, tamarin, single row tamarin. All the students over there enjoyed a lot.

CTTE Drama and Villupaatu Club performed a Villupaatu for Independence day Celebration. 10 members participated in this Villupaatu. Villupaatu contains different sections like struggles faced by our freedom fighters, present problems and the future steps to be taken to overcome the problems. The duration of Villupaatu is 9 minutes. Villupaatu is performed in the presence of Principal, Vice Principal, Faculty members and audience.
Our college Drama and villupaatu club organized a 3 days workshop on Villupaatu from the date of 09.08.2021-11.08.2021 for 3hrs a day. Our faculty coordinator Dr. J. Valli has been the speaker for this workshop and trained us to perform well for Independence Day. Total We were 10 student participants of villupaatu discussed our scripts and practiced accordingly.

Our college Drama and Villupaatu Club organized a workshop on 31st July 2021 to perform Villupaatu on Independence Day. We performed our scripts. Then Principal Dr.S.Sridevi came, she guided and supported us with the tunes and lyrics. Nearly 18 students took part in it. And at last the students, Faculty incharge Dr. J. Valli , Principal Dr. S. Sridevi took a group photo of this workshop.

CTTE Drama's club organised an ORIENTATION ON DRAMA to give an overview, benefits and things to be learnt in drama. This club is newly introduced this academic year. The Guest speaker for the very first session was MR. R. NIRANJAN, Acting trainer at Shasun Jain College for Women, Acting, RJ and VJ trainer at Natchathira Pattarai. He gave a detailed view ofdrama, theatre arts and its benefits. He strongly said that drama will develop personality, leadership, confidence, creativity and moulds a person into a good human being. Drama also creates awareness, brings out the culture and also will help to exhibit our talent. Observation is essential for a drama artist. Drama mainly targets the needs and likes of the audience and it should be scripted according to the situation and place. The speaker expressed that the two most important things of drama are Information and Presentation.
