Objective:
The primary goal of organ donation is to save or improve the life of a recipient who is suffering from organ failure or a serious medical condition that has led to the malfunction or loss of a vital organ.

The Red Ribbon Club of Chevalier T. Thomas Elizabeth College for Women organized an Awareness program
for the students to know about Organ Donation and to motivate, inform, educate, and encourage people to participate in the noble cause.
The invited Guest speaker is Ms. Arshiya Fathima. H, Helpline Counselor & Transplant Coordinator, Mohan Foundation, spoke on the theme ‘No Caste -No Bar -Save lives-Donate Organ’, on January 23, 2024, in the Seminar Hall from 1.30-2.30 pm. The club Coordinator Ms. A Thaslim Begum of Il B.Com. (CS) welcomed all. 40 students participated in the program.
Outcome:
The event provided an opportunity for the students to know the importance of organ donation and understand that Organ
donation provides a life-giving, life-enhancing opportunity to those who are most in need.

The National Voter’s Day Has Been Celebrated On January 25 Every Year Since 2011, All Across The Country To Mark The Foundation Day Of the Election Commission Of India, I.E. 25th January 1950. The theme For This Year’s NVD is “Nothing Like Voting, I Vote For Sure”
In order to encourage more Young Voter to take part in the political process the Red Ribbon Club of Chevalier T.Thomas Elizabeth College for Women organized a Human Chain Formation to promote Voters along with the other clubs of the college on 24th January 2024 and gave a message with slogans promoting 18 years students and staffs to enroll and cast the Vote. In this event, whole students along with the respected faculties of CTTE College has participated. They raised PLACARDS promoting Voter Awareness and the importance of Voting.
OBJECTIVES:
The main objective is to ensure that students understand their rights as voters and exercise those right with full knowledge and responsibility.
To educate the students about the importance of voting in a democratic country by voting for a suitable and right candidate.
Not only Human chain but the college also organized Door to Door campaign and a Signature campaign to motivate the students to vote for sure. Also, events like Speeches, Street plays, and Debates are also organized to highlighting on the importance and purpose of National Voter’s Day.

Objective:
To raise awareness about cardiovascular diseases and promote heart-healthy lifestyles.

The Red Ribbon Club organized an Awareness program for the students to know about the cause of heart disease on World Heart Day. The theme for World Heart Day this year was 'Use heart, know heart 'on 29th September 2023 in the Lawn at 8.50am. The club volunteer, Ms. Sentamizh.S.M of II BSc Chemistry gave a speech promoting awareness during the morning assembly. Around 1000 students participated the program.
Outcome:
The event provided an opportunity for the students to join the global call to raise awareness about heart health and accelerate actions to prevent, detect and manage the cardiovascular diseases.

Objectives :
To provide quality care for people.
To improve awareness for healthy eyes.
Outcome: Through a free eye checkup suggestions for maintaining good eye health and further follow-up where required were provided.
Report :
The Red Ribbon Club joined hands with Dr.Agarwal's Eye Hospital and organized a one-day free eye camp for the benefit of students, staff and the public on August 1, 2023. The eye screening camp was conducted with the objective to promote eye health among the students. A six-member medical team was engaged in this camp. A total of 181 members benefited from this eye screening camp which included teaching & non-teaching staff, students, and the general public in the locality. After the check up reports were given with appropriate suggestions.
Event: World No Tobacco Day

Raise awareness about the health risks of tobacco use.
Encourage individuals to quit smoking and seek support for cessation.
Empower students and staff with knowledge and resources to make informed decisions about their health.
Foster a tobacco-free environment within the college community.

World No Tobacco Day was celebrated In Chevalier T. Thomas Elizabeth College for Women by Red Ribbon Club members on 31st May in College premises in between 1:30 p.m2:00p.m.In this awareness program, our club student coordinator Ms.S.M.Sentamizh of 3rd BSc Chemistry gave an extraordinary speech about World No Tobacco Day. During the speech, members of the club were holding placards. This awareness can reduce the use of tobacco in the surroundings of our staff and students.
Outcome:
Increased awareness among students and staff about the dangers of tobacco use.
Support is provided to individuals interested in quitting smoking.
Establishment of a supportive and tobacco-free environment within the college campus.
