MSW Department in collaboration with U.G Psychology Department conducted Psychotherapy session for the students. During the session the students were made to experience Psychotherapy in detail. Ms. Preenu gave an in depth talk on Self Awareness and its importance in todays Context. To analyse themselves, Self Art therapy and Empty chair therapy was practised with the students. Students actively participated in the therapy and gained a lot of knowledge.

On behalf of SAWE and the Department of Social Work a debate competition was organized by Darthi. R and Priyanka. M. The Moderator for the debate was Ms. N. Lalitha advocate attached with Madras High Court. The topic given for the debate was "Love today – Early Relationship Pros and Cons". Students from various department participated in the competition and spoke with vigour expressing their views. Ms. Lalitha moderated the debate and shared her own perspectives bringing out the pros and cons related to the topic.

On behalf of the SAWE a movie review competition was organised by Kuraisha Fathima. M. The judges for the movie review were Mrs. Maria Jayanthi Jerome, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Development Studies, MSSW and Dr. Sudha Srikanth, Placement Coordinator. The participants were from various departments and chose various genres of movie based on social cause. The judges lauded the participants and the choice of films taken for review.

On behalf of SAWE a Book Review competition was organized by Geya. C and Jasintha Ritu. R. The judges for the book review were Mr. Deepak Ravichandran and Dr. Sumuki Padmanaban. The participants chose various genres of books for the competition. The judges spoke about the importance of book review and reiterated the knowledge that books can impart.

MSW Alumina Ms. Dhamayanthi, Transplant Coordinator, Appollo Hospital, Vanagaram, requested MSW students to create awareness on kidney Transplantation through MIME in Apollo Hospital, Vanagaram under the theme “The Gift of Love”
The students of MSW Department performed the mime at Apollo mutli-speciality hospital Ayanaambakkam about kidney transplantation awareness to Donors, Recipients, Dialysis patients and their Family Members. Finally, the students were honoured with participation certificate.

The Department of Social Work of C.T.T.E college for women in association with TAMILNADU KIDNEY RESEARCH FOUNDATION conducted a Kidney Awareness and Screening Camp on February 1, 2023. Awareness about kidney related disease, its causes, symptoms and treatment were explained in detail to the younger generation. The speaker Mrs. Rajalakshmi Ravi, Trustee of TANKER foundation, addressed around 300 students. Subsequently Mrs. Rajalakshmi and Mrs Deepa, Asst. System Coordinator, conducted a screening camp for all the teaching and non-teaching staff of the College.
