Through the AchieveWorks Skills Assessment, I learned that I excel in critical thinking, conscientiousness, creativity, social awareness, and leadership. For example, my strength in critical thinking is beneficial in my role at Transfer Enterprise, where evaluating information and making logical decisions are crucial. This assessment helped me see how my conscientious and creative approaches contribute to both effective design and precise programming, which are essential in my work with furniture.
Motivation to continue learning: What continuing education, certifications, apprenticeships, etc. will you need to complete to achieve your career goals?
To achieve my career goals, I plan to pursue certifications in project management and computer-aided design (CAD). Continuous learning through certifications will keep me updated on the latest industry trends and allow me to be more competitive in the job market.
How do you demonstrate a strong work ethic in the workplace?
I demonstrate a strong work ethic by consistently meeting deadlines and going the extra mile. For example, when we had a big project at work, I volunteered to stay late to ensure everything was completed on time, showing my dedication to both the team and the task.
Employability skills include punctuality, professional dress, dependability, positive attitude, time management, and other general qualities and skills that help us succeed in any career.

What is one area of growth in which you would like to improve your employability skills?
My greatest strength is my time management skills. I am able to balance multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks effectively, which has helped me meet deadlines and remain organized.
One area of growth for me is public speaking. I want to improve my confidence when speaking in front of large groups, as this will help me communicate more effectively in team meetings and presentations.
