The Purpose of Cougar Academy is to help students achieve success. Our staff members work daily to encourage our students to engage fully in school and participate in activities outside of school hours. We offer our students a wide variety of clubs that help provide leadership opportunities and enrichment activities that help them grow and learn, tutoring is available in a wide range of subjects and we offer physical fitness to keep our students making healthy choices and behaviors. Each Cougar Academy club is designed to allow students the opportunity to play a meaningful role in program design and implementation.

The Vision of Cougar Academy is to provide students extra opportunities and resources to accomplish their goals and inspire them to achieve greater success academically and professionally by gaining knowledge, confidence, friendships and leadership skills.

Provide a fun and safe learning environment for all students to interact and make connections with their peers and Cougar Academy staff during the program.
Create a great working relationship between school administration, parents and after school staff.
Provide students the opportunity to gain leadership skills through participation and/or leading their own club.
