To remain a member in good standing:

• Participate in Key Club events for a MINIMUM of 5 hours per semester

• Participate in a MINIMUM of 3 Key Club events per year

• Attend 80% of meetings

There are two basic leadership positions in our school Key Club: 

• Committee Heads (handbook)

• Officers (handbook)

For these roles you will have lots of opportunities to get leadership hours rather than service hours. You can also get leadership hours for running a project at Key Club. This means that all of the planning and all of the actual event you get leadership hours. 

The awesome thing about Key Club is that it goes way beyond AAHS! There is a District and International Key Club! There are leadership positions in both of these Key Clubs and elections take place at DECON and ICON. For more information on the District and International Key Club click here! 

Dues fluctuate every year depending on District and International Key Club. The dues this year by Key Club International is $7, and the dues for district is $6.50. This brings base dues to $13.50, but AAHS Key Club dues bring the price up. The dues for the AAHS Key Club this year is $25.
