Classroom Expectations
Being part of our class means treating yourself, your classmates, teachers, aides, and materials with respect; that means listening when others speak, using kind words, and caring for classroom supplies.
Your words, actions, and work should show six clear expectations:
Be Respectful — value others and their ideas.
Be Responsible — complete tasks, follow directions, and own your choices.
Be Honest — tell the truth and do your own work.
Be Safe — act in ways that protect yourself and others.
Be Prepared — come ready with supplies, homework, and a mind to learn.
Above all, Be Kind: small acts of kindness make our classroom a place where everyone can succeed.
When you meet these expectations, you will receive recognition like praise from teachers, or a positive phone call, note, or email to share your success with your family.
