The conversation also brings in a greater understanding of our digital footprint apart from potential possibilities for hacking. Our information is not only vulnerable through social media, but we everything we post online is permanent. This lesson brings in conversations about the importance of being aware of what you are posting, from photos to statements to documents. The goal of the lesson is to make sure the student is fully aware of their responsibility towards protecting themselves digitally as a digital citizen, and the goal of the graphic is to provide a simple visual relationship between a potential concern and the action the student can take to rectify the situation.
