I grew up in Montessori, Waldorf, and Integral Education schools, all of which encouraged me to engage with art and craft. The place for visual creativity has ebbed and flowed throughout my life, sometimes being relegated to the back burner and at other times captivating my every waking hour. I am by no means a professional artist or craftsperson, but I think professionalism doesn't need to be a barrier to sharing my creative pursuits. I recognize how instrumental creativity has been in helping me think through theoretical ideas in anthropology, supporting mental health, and inciting new multi-media mays of sharing ethnographic stories. I hope you enjoy browsing through what I have dabbled in over the years.
