The growth and development of the society largely depends on the knowledge, relevant skills, and commitment of its vast man power who are able to respond to real-world challenges in various disciplines
INTENDED GRADUATE ATTRIBUTES
Towards the above ends, the Graduate School is boldly committed to produce graduates who can:
demonstrate breath and depth of knowledge in their chosen field of expertise;
demonstrate critical thinking and effectively communicate knowledge in their respective discipline;
apply their expertise to generate new knowledge or to enhance the discipline through creative research; and e
exhibit the best practices, values and ethics of the profession.
PROGRAM GOALS
To accomplish the above goals, the Graduate School shall:
A. Provide a continuing empowerment program for all professors in the different disciplines on the Master's and the Doctoral levels which make them sensitive to the local, national and international issues and enable them to provide professional assistance to their students in terms of critical thinking and research skill so that through their interdisciplinary involvements, interagency linkages, together with their students, they may address with a deep sense of commitment and responsibility to the needs, the concerns and the problems of the different communities they serve for the improvement of the quality of life of people
B. Provide a continuing information program on all the research outputs of Graduate Professors and students in Master's adn Doctoral level in all disciplines in the local national and international levels, which address multi-cultural issues, needs and concerns, with a much - needed highly effective developed curriculum, international strategies and modules to equip and train them with the personal, social, intellectual skills and knowledge they need, to conduct equally productive, proactive researches which address the needs, concerns and problems of the different communities they serve for the improvement of the quality of people.
C. Provide models of continuing community development/ extension programs organized by graduate professors and students, which have been designed to address local, national and international issues on development to provide skills, sources of supply and opportunities for the survival of those who belong to the marginal sectors of human society; the underprivileged, the uneducated, the unemployed, the less blessed, the unfortunate, the sick and those suffering form dire need of poverty, so that with these , the professors and graduate students may also design and organize continuing community development programs so that life may become lighter, better, more beautiful and more livable with these community development programs/ the other professors and graduate students may conduct.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
This Program aims to develop competent, committed and conscientious educational leaders who are determined to:
● critically examine the broader multicultural, institutional, organizational, and social contexts relevant to education across the lifespan;
● advance the role of scientific research in education, policy reform, and practice and apply research skills in planning, design, implementation, and evaluation of public policy and large – scale reforms in education; and
● Provide sound and ethical educational leadership at all levels with the commitment to drive significant and sustainable development in educational institutions.
