As this Indigenous Self-Education Resource is intended only as an introductory first step in learning about Indigenous peoples and their complex history and relationship with Canada, on this page we have provided a list of books, articles, and websites to start you off on your journey. Remember to do your own labour in learning about Indigenous peoples — resist the temptation to put the labour to teach you on Indigenous folks (especially for free!).
