General Guidelines
Only cut on flat, pre-approved material (wood, cardboard, acrylic, etc. ) If you're unsure if a material can go into the cutter, ask a teacher.
Watch the laser cutter while your work is printing (feel free to bring your laptop over and work while watching).
If a fire starts, pause your print and call over a teacher.
- Make your Illustrator File
Before using the laser cutter, you need to make an Illustrator file with the design you want made. Check out the Illustrator page to learn how Illustrator works.
