Using the laser cutter machine, students in the Advanced Literature of the Spanish-Speaking World class created and engraved a wooden puzzle based on the Quijote by Miguel de Cervantes. Each student was tasked with choosing an episode from the novel that resonated with her and that focused on the reality vs. fiction theme. Students designed their episode/piece on Adobe with the front part representing reality and the back part representing fiction. They later presented their puzzle pieces to their classmates.
