10th-grade students collaborated to create a utopian vision from the perspective of a character in Shakespeare's The Tempest. After composing a speech in English class, they designed and produced a thematic prop using Makerspace technologies such as embroidery, sewing, vinyl cutting, or laser cutting. The project aimed to deepen students' understanding of utopia through literary analysis, encouraging in-the-moment discussions about symbolism and creatively expressing those interpretations within a small group setting.
