College Bound Scholarship

What is it?

An early commitment of state financial aid to eligible students who sign up in middle school during their 7th and 8th grade year and fulfill scholarship requirements.

Commitment Requirements:

• Graduate from a Washington State high school with a GPA of 2.0 or better

• Be income eligible, determined by the college with information from the FAFSA/WASFA

• Enroll into college within one year of graduation

Who is Eligible?

Students must meet any ONE of the following:

• Students who receive free and reduced lunch

• Foster youth

• Families who receive TANF benefits

What does my Scholarship Cover?

• Average cost of tuition at public college rates

• Some college fees

• Small book allowance
