Afternoon Walker

Students may exit the building by themselves as a walker if they have a permission form on file.  They may walk home or to a designated pickup place away from school.  

A new form needs to be filled out each year.  These forms can be found on parentsquare or linked below.

Due to heavy traffic, please do not pick your walker up at Harris Teeter or an adjacent parking lot.

Alt Text:  K-5 walkers exit the front doors of CSD, cross to the sidewalk along Griffith Street, and from there may proceed either direction along the sidewalk.  6/7 walkers, unless they have younger siblings they need to escort from the front doors, exit the middle school hope doors, cross the parking lot to the sidwalk along Davidson Gateway, from there they may proceed toward Griffith Street or away from Griffith Street along Davidson Gateway's sidewalk.  Do not meet your walkers in the parking lots adjacent to school, and remind your students about safe road crossing practices at intersections.
