Afternoon Carpool

Afternoon Carpool begins at 2:45.  

You will need your student's PikMyKid number (provided by their teacher) in order to pick up your student.  If you do not know this number, please park and walk in to the front desk.  

To help speed up carpool, please place a sign in your passenger side window tilted up that includes your student's PikMyKid number and name as seen in the photo below this text box.  (Bonus points for including their teacher's name.)

Once your student is in your car, remove your sign from the window.  

Enter carpool at the round-a-bout at Griffith and Davidson Gateway.  

STOP at the intersection of Davidson Gateway and Jetton Street and WAIT for a staff member to input your student's number and give you a carpool ticket.  *Please be good neighbors and don't block traffic; pull your car over to the side while you wait and don't arrive too early.

When staff directs you, proceed through the intersection and turn left into carpool.  You will exit carpool to the right in the afternoon.

Once you are in the carpool line, form two lines alternating sides with the car in front of you.  We will load 10 cars at a time, 5 on each side.

Please put your car in park when loading is taking place.

After your student is loaded, wait for the STOP/GO director to move your whole line of cars at once.   Cars exit to the right.

You may be asked to "pull around" if your student is delayed in coming out to carpool.  If that happens, we will bring your student to you in your car when they come out.  Simply follow the map below to idle in the lot adjacent to carpool.  You do not need to park, simply wait in your car near the sidewalk corner.

If you arrive after carpool closes (typically 3:00pm or 3:05pm after the first week or two), please park and walk into the front desk to pick up your student.
