Every school needs to provide other key experiences outside of the learning space. Here at St. Peter Martyr we're no different, all around our school you will find we provide an abundance of important assets to aid in giving our students' the best experience we can.
This is the office! Our faculty staff works hard here to make our students have a well organized, joyful experience. They take care of communication, attendance, first aid and the like. Like everywhere else, you are advised to follow the basic safety protocols. Our faculty is open to calls here from 7:30 to 3:00 and 9:00 to 3.00 in person from Mondays to Fridays..
Located in the middle of our school, our garden has our pristine Mary statue in the center surrounded by our wonderful grass and plants. This is where we hold our assemblies and special activities such as Crowning of Mary and Dr. Seuss Day. Occasionally we hold lunch here as well.
On the right side of our school is our Cafeteria. We hold lunch here, but we also hold special events! Almost if not all of our auctions, plays, concerts and displays are all usually held in here. Occasionally we even hold big school dinners here!
One special addition to our learning experience is our little garden. It is located at the very back of our school to the left of our blacktop, and in here we provide all of our students the chance to learn with first hand experience by growing a variety of plants with the help of our lovely volunteers.
We aren't just focused on giving our students the best education, we also want them to enjoy their experience here. That's why we have our play areas! We have three primary play spaces, the upper side blacktop in the back of the school, the lower side blacktop at the front, and the playground. There are hopscotches and tether balls at the front and baseball cages and basketball hoop sat the back. Students have access to playground equipment like balls and jump ropes, but they are also free to bring their own if given permission. Most of our students just have their breaks on the upper side and lower side blacktops, but we also have a playground to the left of the school for our youngest students next to the kindergarten classroom. These three areas are also used for the school's PE programs.
