Hello! I am Mrs. Silva and I am beyond excited to be your third grade teacher! Third grade was a memorable year for me and I hope it will be for you as well. I can't wait to learn all about you this year, but first I will tell you a few things about me!

I am a Bay Area native. I grew up (mostly) in San Leandro, and continue to live there with my husband, daughters and our dog Daisy. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with a minor in English, as well as my Clear Teaching Credential from Cal State Hayward (now known as CSUEB). I have been teaching for 20+ years at St. Bede. I also serve as the Vice Principal. I have taught TK/K, mentored many of our new teachers, and I am also the Yearbook Moderator. In my free time I enjoy cooking, baking, and crafting with my Cricut.

Both of my daughters are St. Bede alums and went on to attend Saint Joseph Notre Dame High School in Alameda. I believe Catholic education is one of the best gifts we can give our children and I can’t wait to share my love for education and God with you.
