Goal Description

This page provides a detailed roadmap for the primary objectives within the Chequamegon Library Plan. For each goal, you will find a breakdown including the projected timeline for completion, the activities designed to meet our targets, and the steps required to ensure success.

Community Partnerships

Cultivates partnerships within the school and local community to promote engagement and a lifelong learning process.

Goal: By the end of the 2027/2028 school year the district's librarian will have created communication and partnership with the public library in order to support each other in reading incentives, patron accessibility, and offer more opportunities to the patrons of the community.

Timeline/Activites

Fall 2026/Open communications with the Park Falls Public Library Director
- Meet with director to start setting up quarterly communication schedule
- Create a public library liaison to the school district
- Invitation to District's Open House
Spring 2027/Continue quarterly communications and promote reading incentives
- Collaborate a Read Across America joint celebration
- Promote summer reading program at the public library
Fall 2027/ Revisit quarterly communications
- Invitation to District's Open House for public library promotion
- Explore a collaborative quarterly news bulletin
- Increase communications to monthly
Spring 2028/ Review development of communication
- Meet with Public Library Director to review communication partnership
- Collaborte any events for the future

Collaborative Leadership

Participates in setting the district’s vision and strategic plan for digital learning and fosters a culture of collaboration and innovation to empower teachers and learners.

Goal: At the beginning of the 2027/2028 school year the district library will have developed and provided a video tutorial library that can be access by staff and students to learn digital applications and digtial learning strategies.

Timeline/Activities:

Fall 2026/Gather information to ensure which digital applications and learning strategies are needed to support curriculums and student learning.
- Create a survey to gather information on which digital applications and learning strategies are of need to support curriculums and classrooms
- Start curating a video library with the most often used resources, applications, and support needs
- Collaborate with students to help create videos, tutorials, and other supportive materials
Spring 2027/Complete video tutorial library
- Complete work on curating a video library and prepare for usage
Fall 2027/ Promote and share video library
- During the first week of inservice the district librarian will introduce and review the video tutorial library to the staff
- Each month send out an email reminding district patrons of the video library and how to access it
