All of our students visited the library this week(some will come tomorrow); book check-out will start next week.  We shared a read-aloud about acceptance, diversity, empathy, unconditional love, and friendship which I thought was a great way to start the school year.  The author wrote the book for his son who LOVED playing with Queen Elsa dolls and toys.  You can visit the author's website, listen to a read-aloud of the book, or watch a short animated video produced by the author.  He also has a podcast and a TV series in production.   As I had a connection to this book, I took a trip down memory lane and brought in my son Zak's Cabbage Patch doll - Abe!
