It’s that time of year again: time to clear off your yard of all the fallen leaves. Luckily, the DHS Close Up Club is here to the rescue! Our club will be hosting its annual DHS Rake & Run event - a student-run volunteer based service project that helps our students raise money for their trip to Washington D.C. A team of DHS students and at least one adult chaperone will come to your home and rake and bag leaves. On average, students work from 30 minutes to one hour at each site. There is no financial obligation to participate, although our club gladly accepts donations in order to make the trip possible for more students.

This year, the Decatur High School Close Up Club will hold its Rake & Run service project on Saturday, December 3 from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm.
