Join us for the upcoming Cross-Faculty Seminar Series, Innovating Language Assessment in a Multilingual World, organised to explore and discuss the challenges, inspirations and innovations in language assessment across diverse linguistic and cultural contexts.
For the Lent Term 2025, we have an exciting lineup of events:
22nd of January: Prof. Ianthi Tsimpli (Faculty of MMLL, Cambridge) will share insights from her recent research, titled “Multilingual assessment: if you are from the global south”.
19th of February: Prof. Yongcan Liu (Faculty of Education, Cambridge) will deliver a talk on a frontier topic “Critical issues in teaching and assessing students with English as an Additional Language (EAL) in the multilingual classroom”.
12th of March: A student-led session showcasing ongoing and/or completed research from postgraduate students.
