Cru Global Partner development Team

our team is spread from Indonesia all the way to Costa Rica

My History:

When the time for us come to leave Russia (in 2018), we have a variety of ministry opportunities to consider. One of them that we trusted God and took was to join a fairly new Area Partner Development Team for Central Eastern Europe and Russia (CEE). The CEE area contained 19 countries.

Since all was new we have the opportunity for a lot of new ideas. Toncho starts working in the area of Team Partner Development, helping different local teams to create and run a strategy involving local partners to support their team activities and help them to have adequate financial resources for the ministry.

Those efforts brought a mind shift in our area (CEE) of the way how we need to be more proactive in involving local resources.

In 2019, Toncho become the Area Team Leader for Fund Development for CEE. The CEE area was reorganized in 2021.

Current situation:

In 2021, Cru ministries around the world were reorganized, and as a result of that, the geographic areas were merged. The former Central and Eastern Europe area merged with the Western Europe area and formed a new Region - Europe that now includes 40 + national ministries.

Toncho was offered to join the Cru Global Partner Development Team, and he accepted this challenge. He joined to be responsible for developing and creating effective systems and procedures for involving partners and building self-sustainability for Cru on a Global level, with 155+ National Ministries.

This was a new position that up to this point did not have staff directly responsible for it.

On a team level, Toncho is also doing financial management, technical support, and systems functionality for our team of 10 members spread across the Globe.

To envision and develop leaders to enable staff and partners to experience the joy of the Spirit of generosity that leads to local sustainability and an abundance of resources.

Our TEAM Goal:

By 2027, to have 34 more, Self Sustainable*, fully funded national ministries

(* currently only 16 are considered Self-Sustainable)

At the moment, there are a few Global Projects in which Toncho is involved

They are all focused on different National Ministries, helping them expand their operations and partners' building capacity.

Make Giving Easy - a project that provides a quick and easy opportunity for a local Ministry partner to give online to national staff or ministries. Currently, the project is implemented and running in eleven countries (UK, France, India, Mexico, Bulgaria, Hungary, Kenya, Moldova, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Ireland), and some are in the implementation process (Australia, Guatemala, Colombia, Indonesia, Poland, Ukraina, Curasao, Fiji, Benin, Panama) and a few more are in the waiting line (Democratic RC, Italy, Trinidat adn Tobago)

National Ministry Partners Engagement Management - this project has a goal to help National Ministries manage and to be able to manage partners' information to help them stay connected with the ministry and become part of it, not only by giving but by being involved as L.I.F.E. partners (Leadership, Influence, Finance, and Expertise)

There are two directions for this project - one is creating training on how to use available global Cru Systems, and the second is working with the African Region, with a testing country- Kenya, as a pilot project to expand the potential on a practical level, depending on the ministry's needs at the moment.
