Common Questions
Are these groups for anyone?
Are you a college student or young adult living in or attending school in the La Crosse area?
We are a movement comprised of students from multiple schools who are looking to grow in their faith and/or ask questions about Christianity.
If you would like to check one out, click on the Connect button and we will see what study is closest to you!
Do I have to be a Christian?
Nope! Cru is a safe place for people to explore the claims of Jesus and ask questions.
We are also a space for people to continue to grow in their Christian faith and support each other as we all grow.
Do I Need a Bible?
Nope! We will either have extras to share (or take home!) or a print out of the verses we are discussing. Also, there are many free Bible apps that are great for on-the-go!
Can I bring a Friend?
Absolutely! We want to be an open space for people to join us whenever they can.
What Can I expect if I show up to a Cru small group?
The best place to get connected is in a Bible study.
In contrast to the large group meetings, a Bible study is a chance to get to know people better and learn about God with a small group of students.
You can expect:
To gather with other college students like you
A laid back discussion about the Bible and faith
A safe space to ask questions
A time for prayer
To get to know others and share about your life
Are there opportunities for me to lead a Bible Study?
Yes! As a leader with Cru, you will be trained and equipped to lead a Bible study discussion and learn to ask good questions. To learn more about becoming a leader, connect with a staff member!
