God is raising laborers for the harvest across our nation to take the name of Jesus Christ to their campuses. Come join us for three weeks with other students who want to make a difference in their communities, on their campuses, and throughout the world. Daytona Beach Summer Mission is designed to equip you on your journey to follow Christ and to outlive yourself through influencing others for Him back on your campus and beyond. The cost of the project includes most meals, lodging, and materials. Transportation to and from Daytona is not included. Join us as we reach college students with the message of Jesus in the capital city of Brazil. Brasília is a bustling city of 2.8 million people, but little is happening to reach non-believing students, and Christian students have a difficult time finding fellowship. Religious life in Brazil is largely a mix of catholicism and spirituality rooted in African religions. It is also home to 50 unreached people groups, many located in the Amazon.

Students are extremely welcoming and fun, and it’s easy to start spiritual conversations. From soccer to good food to samba, Brazilians are joyful, passionate, and very family-oriented. We will spend significant time on campuses in the city initiating spiritual conversations with students and inviting them to be a part of God’s mission, both in their country and around the world.

Brazil’s Cru leaders have been praying for laborers to help reach this difficult but highly strategic city. This is truly a place where the harvest is plentiful, and the laborers are few. We are trusting God to raise Brazilians as we pioneer this new location. Imagine you are eye-to-eye with an Arab college student. Steam is still wafting off the cups as you wait for the glasses to cool. You ask, “Have you ever met a Christian before?” and they respond, “No, you are the first one.” Your heart pounds with excitement as you begin to share the best news ever told. This could be your daily life on our summer mission.

How will you meet these students? You’ll connect on campus, at cafés, or even just riding public transit. You’ll quickly learn how open and hospitable these people are. As they welcome you into their lives, you’ll give them the opportunity to respond to Christ’s call. Your trip may spark a spiritual journey that brings these men and women to saving faith! Eternity will be different because you came.

It’s a summer about the breadth and depth of the gospel – for you and your new friends! You will be reaching one of the darkest countries in the world, where less than 1% of the population knows Jesus. It’s very likely that if you don’t come, these people will live their whole lives and never hear.

In addition, you will grow in ways you’ve never imagined as you rely on the Lord through prayer and steps of faith. You’ll receive training in cross-cultural ministry that you can take with you for the rest of your life. You’ll get to learn how to navigate a big city and even speak a little bit of Arabic! Our team will also have regular times of prayer and Bible study, and will do some sightseeing.
