Support Raising

The cost of this trip may feel overwhelming at first. But we encourage you to raise support - something we like to call Ministry Partner Development.

There are many people who are excited to partner with you in this adventure of trusting God on a mission trip! This is a way they can help invest in the Great Commission through helping to send you. We see examples in the Bible of Christian supporting Paul and others on their missionary journeys. Over the years, we have seen God provide abundantly for many staff and students to go on Summer Mission. God provides through individuals, churches, organizations, and businesses.

Don't worry - we will help you with the Ministry Partner Development (MPD) process! After being accepted, you will be able to access a site called Cru Ministry Partner Development. This site helps you think through people and churches you can ask to partner with you for the Jersey Shore Summer Mission, as well as walk through step by step how to raise support (including writing a support letter). And staff on your campus and/or going to Jersey Shore will be happy to help you in the process as well.

You will have options for people to give via check or online for your Summer Mission experience. And all donations made to Cru are tax-deductible.

*No one is required to raise support, but it is a great way to trust God to provide for your needs. It also gives people the opportunity to invest in the Great Commission through you.
