We have seen God work in meaningful ways in the lives of students on the Jersey Shore Summer Mission over the years. Many students would say the summer deeply impacted the way they walk with Jesus and invest their lives in the Great Commission.
We created this website to answer any questions you may have as you consider joining us this summer.
We hope this site will help you know more about what the Jersey Shore Express Summer Mission will look like this summer.
This Summer Mission is scheduled early in the summer to enable students to start off their summer with intentionality in their walk with Jesus, growing in discipleship and ministry, all while allowing students to have the majority of their summer for summer classes, jobs, and internships.

My name is Paul Runnoe. My wife, Jenn & I serve on the Milwaukee Metro Team with Cru. This is my 19th year on staff. We have 6 kids who will be joining us on Summer Mission (aged 11 down to 1 year old). Summer missions are one of my favorite parts about being on staff and I really value our team feeling like a family! I also enjoy exploring new places, so I'm looking forward to getting to know Seaside Heights!

Hi! My name Hilary Mlsna. I came to know the Lord in college at UW-Eau Claire and I have worked with Cru for 19 years. I currently live and work in Milwaukee, WI. My husband Jake and I have been married for 18 years and we have 2 kids (Elijah-12; Kate-10). I enjoy spending time with people that I love, playing games, and reading. I will serve as the female Team Leader for Jersey Shore. Summer missions are one of my favorite things that Cru offers college students and I am so excited to see what God does this summer.

My name is Katie Smith. I serve with Cru on the Leadership Development & HR Team for IA, MN, WI, ND, SD, NE, KS, & MO. I went to Iowa State University and studied History & Secondary Education. I have been on staff with Cru for 20 years. I love spending time with friends, putting together puzzles, and doing crafts. Using my creative skills with my Cricut machine is life-giving. Summer Missions are one of my favorite things to do on staff with Cru. I love Jersey - this will be my 6th time on this Summer Mission!
