What
We are pleased that you are interested in joining us for the High Ground at Gettysburg briefing. Gettysburg is truly a special place, and we will be there at a beautiful time of the year. You will enjoy Dr. Jay Lorenzen as our expert field guide.
We look forward to sharing the dreams and plans of Faculty Commons, Cru’s outreach to professors and graduate students. This event will give you new insights on not only the Battle of Gettysburg, but also the battle for America’s universities.
The briefing will be very casual. Much of our time will be spent on the battlefield, so bring walking shoes and comfortable outdoor clothing.
Faculty Commons’ Strategic Initiatives will be reviewed, and an opportunity will be offered for strategic financial involvement in the Cru/Faculty Commons ministry.
When
High Ground at Gettysburg is Thursday, September 25, 2025, through Sunday, September 28, 2025. Your room will be ready at 3:00 pm on Thursday, and we will gather at 4:00 pm to go out on the battlefield. High Ground will adjourn after breakfast on Sunday.
Where
Built in 1836, the Swope Manor at 60 York Street is the perfect place to host friends of Cru for our gathering. It’s only a block from the main square of quaint Gettysburg and at the heart of everything. The inn has been completely renovated and has all the comforts of today. We will make your reservation when you register with us.
