Come with us
We hope you will join us for High Ground at Gettysburg, hosted by Cru's Faculty Commons. This ministry briefing, held at one of the pivotal sites of the Civil War and our nation’s history, will give you an insider’s perspective on two epic battles: the Battle of Gettysburg and the battle for America’s universities.
Community of friends
We’ve designed this weekend to be a small, personal event where friendships are forged, and all will depart truly blessed by the time together. You’ll meet other friends of Cru who want to change America’s future by reaching university students and professors for Christ.
Rest and refresh
This event will refresh you spiritually and renew your vision for your own life and leadership. Take some time to rest and to be encouraged by God’s people and the Lord Himself.
Expert field guide
Dr. Jay and Laurie Lorenzen have hosted numerous leadership conferences in Gettysburg during the last 26 years. Both are passionate about the role of history in forming men and women of character. Jay (Lt. Col., PhD) retired from the Air Force in 1996, having served for 12 years as Associate Professor of Political Science at the Air Force Academy. He will be our expert field guide during the weekend.
A message from our Faculty Commons National Director
"We’d love for you to join us September 25-28, 2025, in historic Gettysburg. We think you will leave High Ground at Gettysburg feeling challenged, invigorated, and greatly encouraged. We look forward to getting to know you and sharing the dreams of Faculty Commons."
