STRATEGIES

motivating and mobilizing students

WHAT'S YOUR GOAL?

Your goals and current reality will determine your strategy. Take a minute and consider what your goal is.

Here are some examples to spark your thinking:

  • _____# of total students
  • _____# of new students
  • _____# students from 1-3 new pockets of campus
  • _____% of attendees to be freshmen
  • _____% of attendees to be seekers or new believers

STRATEGIES BY AUDIENCE

The Fall Retreat is the key momentum event of the fall semester. Our goal is to reach every student on campus. Getting students to fall retreat from each of these key audiences is critical.

PRAYER

God who provides the means, causes the growth, and changes lives. Really these strategies are acts of faith, expectantly trusting God to work.

With this mindset, prayer is a natural posture. It is also a guard to unhealthy dependence on strategies. Make time regularly to pray for your Fall Retreat.

Mobilize the engaged students to pray for the retreat and those who will come. Let this be a normal rhythm of your movement.
